Cove Center for Adults
Cove's program for adults with learning disabilities, established
by Dr. Jay Einhorn in 1989, currently providing:
- THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT GROUP
Half therapy group, half support group,
the group has been meeting weekly for over ten years. Members
tend to have moderate to severe learning disabilities, and have
included college graduates, persons with one or two decades on
the job, and persons just getting ready to leave home.
- LEARNING DISABILITY EVALUATION
The goal is to describe the person's areas of ability and disability
in ways that answer practical questions and support problem solving
and human development.
- SPECIFIC REMEDIATION
While most clients in need of remediation are referred to professionals
in the community, Dr. Einhorn has worked directly with several
to develop individualized programs.
