Playing music with John Getman was a joy. John and I recorded this session in his living room in 1996, as a demo, live to digital audio tape (DAT). He became ill the next year and died soon afterward, so we never recorded a finished product in a studio. This cd is made for friends who have asked for one, and others who may enjoy it. It celebrates our collaboration and expresses my gratitude for John's friendship, musical companionship, and encouragement. In Madison, Cliff Fredericksen joined us on bass for this session, and Wes Cash recorded it.
